Who We Are
CDD is a private, nonprofit organization that supports adults with developmental disabilities in the greater Kansas City, MO area. We provide residential care and day habilitation services that honor each person's unique journey. With the right support and encouragement, individuals can make their own lifestyle choices. Everyone deserves kindness, respect, and a life free from intimidation. We believe lives are enriched through meaningful relationships, community engagement, and safe, comfortable living environments.
What We Do
CDD hosts several events throughout the year that support our mission and advance our cause, and we rely on dedicated volunteers to help make them successful. Volunteers assist with a variety of tasks such as greeting guests, managing registration, setting up event spaces, and helping with cleanup, all to ensure our donors and attendees have a smooth and memorable experience.
