Responsibilities include organizing materials, cleaning surfaces, and planning and leading engaging activities for individuals in the PALS program. No prior experience is required. All volunteers must complete an orientation with the Community Engagement Specialist, pass a background check, and complete Gentle Teaching and Abuse/Neglect trainings. This is a flexible opportunity for volunteers to engage in a variety of enriching experiences that reflect participants' interests and goals. Examples of Volunteer Activities: mentoring or life skills coaching, leading or assisting with classroom-style lessons, hosting coffee conversations or discussion groups, organizing or attending group outings (e.g., bowling, concerts, supporting music, arts, or meal prep sessions, sharing hobbies or personal expertise (crafts, cooking, tech, sports, etc.) Time Commitment: 2–6 hours per shift—based on your availability and interests.
